Behaviour
Our pupils are actively involved in deciding rules for the classroom. Good behaviour and hard work is rewarded. This is acknowledged individually through immediate positive comments from the class teacher, stickers and certificates. Every week we hold a special ‘Gold Book’ awards assembly where pupils in each class are presented with a special certificate. We also use this opportunity to celebrate children’s achievements outside school- showing swimming awards, dancing and football certificates to mention but a few.
It may be that at any time your child will experience some anxiety or problems. We aim to offer a network of support to ensure that these anxieties are sensitively handled and also that the pupils’ well being and confidence is successfully restored. Parents are encouraged to contact the school immediately if they are aware of any signs of distress or concern. You can be assured that immediate action will be taken.
Behaviour
is managed consistently throughout the school with the use of a
Levelled Behaviour Grid.

Anti-Bullying Policy
The school has been granted Anti-Bullying Award Campaign Excellence Status.
The school works with all of the children to develop their social, emotional and behavioural skills, to help them to understand and gain confidence in recognising and acting when they see or experience bullying. We have a keen desire to ensure that all children are aware of what bullying is and the measures they can take to prevent it.
