Core Beliefs
Our overall aim is to educate every child in our care to achieve his or her potential within a caring and Christian environment. We hope that our children will leave us confident to face their future and to make a positive contribution to the society in which they live.
The School's Aims and Objectives
We are a school whose foundation is solidly built on the teachings of Christ’s Gospel and our aims for our school community reflect these values.
Within the contexts of the Christian faith:-
We provide a happy and secure learning environment for all our children in which to grow and achieve their true potential, academically, physically, socially and spiritually.
We provide an environment where our children can develop independence, interdependence, self-confidence and self esteem.
We provide a stimulating learning environment where our children can develop lively, inquiring minds and enjoy learning.
We offer all our children equal access to a broad and balanced curriculum.
We meet every child’s needs, extending individual talents and helping to overcome special difficulties.
We foster respect for each other. We expect every member of our community to show care and consideration for others and to be kind and polite to everyone.
We endeavour to work in full partnership with parents, recognising that they are the child’s first teachers and can offer invaluable help in understanding the needs of the individual.
We hope to play a full part in our local community and make full use of our local environment.
We want our children to leave us excited at the prospect of the challenges offered by their secondary school.
We are committed to a programme of professional development for all our staff, which will ultimately enhance the learning opportunities for our children.
