Practise the Green Cross Code with your child.
Use the 'lollipop' school crossing patrol to cross St Johns Road by the Cranborne Road junction: 08:30 - 09:00 before school and 15:15 - 15:50 after school.
Dogs are not permitted on the school grounds for health and safety reasons.
Ensure that your child wears a cycle helmet and bright/reflective clothing.
Ensure that that their cycle is in a safe, roadworthy condition and it must, in the winter months, have lights.
Read The Highway Code with your child, especially the Cyclists section.
Ensure that your child alights outside the school grounds on Cranborne Road as, for safety reasons cycling, scooting and skating are not permitted on the school path, yard or playgrounds.
Do not park or turn in the school car park, which is reserved solely for the use of staff.
Do not park or stop (to drop off) on school zigzag road markings as it is against the law.
Take care on Cranborne Road, which is narrow and often becomes busy with cars, cycles, pedestrians and buses at the start and end of the school day.
